Standard Fatigue — Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 16, 2026

This policy explains what the Standard Fatigue app (the "App") does with your information. The App is a companion to Standard Fatigue: When Upholding the Standard Becomes the Battle by Jeff T. Osborne and is published on the App Store by Stack Station Inc. ("we," "us").

The short version: your practice stays on your phone. If you choose to sign in for Hills, we keep only your sign-in account.

1. What stays on your phone

Everything you write and track in the App is stored only on your device. We never receive it. This includes:

  • Your standards, daily holds, arm weights, and slip notes
  • Your journal entries, step notes, reflection answers, and testimonies
  • Your North Star, identity and assignment statements, and declaration
  • Your Camp items, restorations, chapter progress, and Work Guide answers
  • The names of your two arms and your warning signs on the Hills tab
  • Your name as you enter it, your reminder time, and other settings

Deleting the App, or using Me → Settings → Reset everything, removes this information from your device.

2. Signing in (optional)

Signing in is optional and is only used for the Hills tab. If you create an account, we store the following with Google Firebase, our hosting provider:

  • Account information: your email address and name, or the private identifier Apple provides if you use Sign in with Apple

Nothing you write in the App is attached to your account or uploaded.

3. What we don't do

  • We don't sell your information or share it with advertisers.
  • We don't track you across other apps or websites.
  • We don't use analytics or advertising software in the App.
  • We don't access your contacts, photos, location, or microphone.

4. Notifications

If you turn on the daily reminder, it is scheduled locally on your device. No notification data is sent to us.

5. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in the App: Me → Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently deletes your sign-in account. Your on-device practice is not affected.

You can also ask us to delete your account through the contact page below.

6. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
