Common questions
What do I do each day? Open the App and tap Start today's standard. The session takes about twelve minutes: check how heavy the arms are (1 to 10), hold the line on your standards for yesterday and today, work one step of the chapter you are on, and read one verse.
What does "heavy arms" mean? It comes from Exodus 17, where Aaron and Hur held up Moses' arms when they got tired. Each day you rate how heavy your standard feels. At 7 or above, the App slows down and reminds you that you are fatigued, not failing.
I slipped on a standard. Did I lose my progress? No. A slipped day lowers one bar for one day. There are no streaks to break.
Where is my journal stored? On your phone only. See the privacy policy.
Do I need an account? No. The daily practice, the chapters, and the Work Guide work without an account or an internet connection. Signing in is only for the Hills tab.
How do I change or turn off the daily reminder? Go to Me → Settings → Daily Reminder.
How do I see how the App works again? Tap How this works on the Today screen, or go to Me → How It Works.
How do I delete my account? Go to Me → Settings → Account → Delete account. Your on-device practice stays.
How do I start over? Go to Me → Settings → Reset everything. This erases your practice from this phone and cannot be undone.
